Her mission is to create a safe environment wherein individuals explore a life-enhancing path, individually and/or while connecting with community. As a Creative, Debbie recognizes the importance in engaging playful creative activities to develop mindful engagement, unify with one’s heart and soul’s longings, to manifest an Inspired Life.  Workshops and retreats often involve a combination of Yoga Practices: Posture, Breathing, Guided Meditation AND creative engagement, either in nature, and/or using collage materials to imagine desired shifts in your life. Online workshops and courses are now available for those on the go… or want to expand their lifestyle explorations on their own schedule.
I took your yoga classes when I lived in Laramie… I had never taken yoga before, so I had nothing to which to compare it. I now know what an excellent teacher and fabulous studio you are and have. I moved over a year ago, and can’t seem to find anything comparable. Thank you!

Yoga Resume

I have been practicing yoga since 1981, having fallen in love with the practice after my first class. Since then I have explored many differing traditions, and integrated the various practices that resonated with me, into my own teaching style. I began with the intelligent alignment proffered by BKS Iyengar. This yoga master’s focus on the slow and steady building of body awareness, and the importance of alignment and props, laid a solid foundation for my practice and teaching. I continued solely studying with Iyengar trained teachers through the early 1990’s. In 1993, I moved to the Rocky Mountains, and for many years attended the annual Estes Park Yoga Journal Conference, where I practiced with a variety of teachers, representing many hatha traditions, from Kundalini (with Gurmukh), to Astanga (Richard Freeman), Iyengar (Judith H. Lasetar, Patricia Walden, Rodney Yee), Viniyoga (Gary Kraftsow) and Anusara (John Friend). I began teaching yoga full time in 2003, in Laramie, WY, opening a downtown studio in 2005, the same year I became certified through Yoga Alliance: RYT 200 (Registered Yoga Teacher – 200 hour training). My interests expanded into the more subtle teachings of breath work (Pranayama) and meditation. So I deepened my studies with longer workshops and training with Tias Little (Prajna Yoga), Saraswati Buhrman (RMIYA – teachings of Baba Hari Das), and Richard Miller, with whom I did a Yoga Nidra training. I continued studies with Aadil Palkivala (Purna Yoga), with whom I completed a therapeutic teacher training, some of which involved the use of the Wall Rope System. From 2006 on-wards, I began teaching numerous workshops, in addition to the regular classes. In 2009, private consultations for therapeutic purposes evolved, which has expanded greatly since 2012, when I focused upon the therapeutic applications of yoga during the 500 hour certification program with Joseph and Lillian Le Page. I have also studied nutrition, healthy eating, and integrating various practices, such as Living Foods, into my own lifestyle choices; I offer counsel to clients and community in various ways to shift habits of consumption to those which create healing and vitality. My Primary focus utilizes an Integrative Yoga Therapy approach; I’m excited to help women cultivate self-care as their bodies mature, and explore ways to ignite their passions as their wisdom grows through age. Integrating creative pursuits, to envision their future selves, helps me integrate my personal passions involving yoga and art making. Through private coaching, workshops and retreats, I assist women to heal, balance and re-vitalize their physical, psychological and spiritual layers, so they can experience their humanity and divinity.
